Dr. Izharul Haq is an Assistant Professor at Dr. B. Kalamdhad, a Professor in Civil Engineering at IIT Guwahati, is renowned for his contributions to environmental engineering, particularly in sustainable solid waste management. His research spans mechanical composting, vermicomposting, anaerobic digestion, solid waste analysis, composting microbiology, biosorption, and water and wastewater treatment. Dr. Kalamdhad’s work has significantly advanced sustainable  waste management techniques, influencing academia, policy, and corporate practices.
